An underrated mechanical M42-mount SLR from the 1970s with a fast f/1.4 normal lens — the Chinon CX is a tough, well-built body that gives you the full Pentax/Praktica M42 lens ecosystem at a beginner-friendly price. The included Chinon Auto 55mm f/1.4 is a sharp, fast normal prime that punches well above its weight.
