About this camera.

One of the most respected professional 35mm SLRs ever made — the Nikon F4 with the standard DP-20 multi-meter viewfinder. Released in 1988 as Nikon's first professional autofocus body, the F4 is a bridge between the manual-focus F-series classics and the modern AF era — magnesium-alloy build, every shooting mode you could want, and full compatibility with virtually every Nikkor F-mount lens ever made.

The camera is fully usable via the focus and exposure confirmation LEDs in the viewfinder and the aperture values displayed in the viewfinder itself. All other functions are working absolutely perfectly — shutter accurate at all speeds, autofocus, all exposure modes, and the meter.

In short

The LCD quirks are honestly disclosed up front — for anyone comfortable shooting the F4 the old-school way using the bright in-finder readouts (which is how most pros used it anyway), this is a fully working pro-grade body at a meaningfully reduced price. The F4 remains one of the great photographic tools of the late film era.
