The Nikon FM10 with the Zoom-Nikkor 35–70mm — a friendly, all-mechanical 35mm SLR kit that’s a superb way to learn film. The shutter is fully mechanical (it fires without a battery; the battery only powers the meter), and a simple match-LED meter guides your exposure. Nikon F mount opens up the whole Nikkor world later.
