The Nikon FM10 is a purely mechanical, fully manual 35mm SLR — a long-time favourite of students and anyone who wants to learn photography from the ground up. Its metal focal-plane shutter fires at every speed without a battery (cells are needed only for the light meter), and the Nikon F mount opens the door to decades of Nikkor glass. Paired here with the versatile Zoom-Nikkor 35-70mm f/3.5-4.8, it makes a compact, dependable everyday kit.
