About the product.
Few 35mm rangefinders carry the reputation of the Yashica Electro 35 GTN. Yashica's electronically controlled Electro line began in 1966 and was among the first cameras to combine automatic exposure with an electronic shutter. This 1973 GTN is the black-bodied member of the late GSN/GTN pair, adding a hot shoe to the PC socket while keeping the fast Yashinon 45mm f/1.7 lens that made the series popular. It suits anyone who wants a bright viewfinder and simple aperture-priority shooting.

In short
The shutter defaults to 1/500 s when no battery is fitted, so the meter needs power for automatic exposure. At ₹9,500 this is an excellent-plus body with a bright rangefinder and a fast lens.
