The Nikon F80 (known as N80 in the US) is a mid-range 35mm SLR from Nikon's late-1990s/early-2000s film lineup, sitting below the F100 and above the entry-level F65/F75 models. It brought a number of professional-level features down to an enthusiast price point, including advanced autofocus and metering systems borrowed from Nikon's higher-end bodies.
It remains popular among film shooters today because it takes the full range of Nikon F-mount lenses, including modern AF-S and G lenses, and offers a good balance of automation and manual control without the bulk or cost of the F100 or F5.
