How marketplace works

Products listed by independent sellers across India, checked at our Gurgaon workshop before they reach you.

Our role

  • Every item ships from our Gurgaon workshop — including marketplace listings, which come to us first.
  • No item is sent seller-to-buyer. There is always a stop at our workshop.
  • Your payment sits with us until the item has been checked.

Stage by stage

Stage 1 · Order placed
Payment is taken and held
  • You pay in full at checkout. Nothing reaches the seller at this point.
  • The seller is notified the same day and has 48 hours to confirm and pack the order.
  • If the seller does not confirm within 48 hours, the order is cancelled and refunded in full.
Stage 2 · Seller dispatches
The item comes to Gurgaon
  • Sellers ship within 1–2 business days of confirming.
  • Shipping is by Delhivery. The seller pays for this leg; it is deducted from their payout. 
  • Transit time to us is typically 4–5 business days, longer from the North East, J&K, and island territories.
  • You can follow the order status through email updates that we send at each step.
Stage 3 · Verification
We test it against the listing
  • Turnaround at the workshop is usually 1-2 working days.
  • We confirm the item is complete — everything is as listed and works as expected, and includes all the items mentioned.
  • If what we find matches the listing, the item is cleared, packed, and dispatched.
  • If it does not match, we contact you before anything ships. It is then your decision to either re-negotiate or cancel the order.
Stage 4 · Dispatch to you
Packed and sent
  • Dispatched the working day after it clears the checks.
  • Tracking is emailed and shown in your account within a few hours of pickup.
  • Delivery across India runs 4–9 business days from dispatch.
  • The seller's payout is released once the item has cleared verification.

What it costs

  • Nothing extra. The price on the listing is what you pay.
  • Our commission is 5–10% and comes out of the seller's payout, not your bill.
  • Shipping is shown to you at checkout, at actuals.

If a product fails our checks

This happens on marketplace orders, and you always decide what happens next.

  • We send you what we found, with photographs, before anything ships.
  • Take a corrected price — we renegotiate with the seller and refund you the difference.
  • Cancel — full refund, and the item goes back to the seller at their cost.
  • Nothing ships without your reply. We hold it, we do not decide for you.

Common questions

Can I have the seller ship straight to me and skip a week?
No. The stop at our workshop is the entire point of buying through us. Without it, a marketplace listing is just a stranger’s description.
