Two practical notes. This camera takes Memory Stick Duo or PRO Duo cards rather than SD, so factor that in if you do not already have one — they are still easy to find. And it runs on two AA batteries, not included; a pair of rechargeable NiMH cells is the right thing to put in it. The Zeiss lens is what you are really buying here, and it holds up.
