About the product.

The Zeiss Touit 12mm f2.8 is an ultra-wide-angle autofocus prime designed by Carl Zeiss specifically for APS-C mirrorless systems, sold in both Fujifilm X and Sony E mount versions. It belongs to the Touit line, Zeiss's mid-tier autofocus range built for mirrorless shooters who want Zeiss optical rendering without moving into manual-focus Milvus or Otus territory. On a Fuji APS-C body it gives an 18mm-equivalent field of view, making it a common choice for landscape, architecture and interior work.

The lens uses an internal focusing design with a stepper motor for quiet, reasonably fast autofocus on Fuji bodies, and it retains a manual focus ring that pulls back into a mechanical, distance-scale-linked mode, a feature carried over from Zeiss's classic manual lenses.
