Inspection & payouts
Every sold item comes to our Gurugram workshop before it goes to the buyer. What happens there decides whether you are paid.
When your item reaches us
- Every sold item comes to our Gurugram workshop before it goes to the buyer.
- We open it and check it against your listing, field by field.
- Either it matches what you wrote and you get paid, or it doesn't and it comes back to you.
- There is no middle path and nothing to negotiate.
A · ~93% of items
It matches your listing
- Everything you declared checks out.
- You are paid the full amount shown to you when you listed, to the UPI ID or bank account you gave us, then we dispatch to the buyer.
- If they send it back after this, we absorb it. You keep the money and we do not contact you about it.
B · ~7% of items
Not as described
- Something material does not match.
- The sale does not go ahead: the buyer is refunded the same day, you get the finding in full (photographs, the exact listing answer it contradicts, the inspector's name), and the item is sent back to you.
- No penalty, no clawback, no commission, since there was no sale.
Once we've paid you, the sale is finalWe are the ones who inspected it and told the buyer it was right. If they send it back because it isn’t what they expected, that is our mistake to carry, not yours. You will not be chased for money weeks later, and you will not be asked to take an item back after it has left us. There is no clawback, no partial refund and no renegotiation after payout.
What counts as not as described
Your listing answers are the specification. If an answer turns out to be wrong, that is the whole test — we don't need to argue about adjectives.
Comes back to you
- A different model, variant or generation from the one listed
- A function you declared as working that does not work
- A necessary included item missing — battery, lens, charger, film back, dark slide, cable
- Photographs that are not of the item you sent, including a serial that doesn't match your own photos
- Undisclosed repair, replacement parts, refinishing or restoration
- An undisclosed reproduction where the listing implied an original
- Counterfeit goods, or goods that were not yours to sell
- Any listing question answered incorrectly
We ship it anyway
- Normal wear consistent with the grade you chose
- Patina, brassing or age marks on a vintage item
- Dust that a blower removes
- A fast lens being soft wide open, or vignetting — that is the optical design
- A mechanical camera running inside the rate you stated
- Light leaks on a toy camera you declared as having them
- Anything you declared in the faults section
- A small undeclared scuff that changes nothing about the item
- Our inspector simply preferring a different item
